ICF Trustees Recruitment

Updated: Oct 22, 2022

Inverclyde Community Fund (ICF) is looking for new Trustees to join our experienced Board.

If you are passionate about supporting the great work currently happening in Inverclyde and interested in working with businesses and donors to be part of the change, you might be interested in becoming one of our Trustees.

ICF is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation working in Inverclyde. Its mission is to generate income from funding partners, businesses, and donors, and distribute this in grants.

Although we are a relatively small charity, we are growing, and have developed a strong reputation as a fair, accessible, and approachable funder.

ICF has no employees and is managed entirely by volunteer Trustees and administrators.

Our grants support local community groups, voluntary organisations, and community influencers, enabling them to create a greater impact on the lives of the people, communities, and the environment of Inverclyde.

We pride ourselves in having a diverse and representative board and would welcome applications from people in the public, private or third sectors, who have a broad range of skills and experience.

We would particularly encourage applications from people with experience in financial systems, responsible business, equality, diversity and inclusion, and fundraising.

The Board meets monthly at the Inverclyde Hub in Greenock, and in addition to the governance role, Trustees undertake some operational duties when required.

If you are interested in having a conversation about the opportunity to become an ICF Trustee, please email keith@inverclydecommunityfund.org to arrange a chat.

The Trustee Pack can be downloaded below and applications should be emailed to our Chair at eleanor@inverclydecommunityfund.org.

The closing date for applications is Monday 5th December 2022.
