ICF Supports Clyde Coast Radio's Transition to DAB at Open Day Event

Radio broadcasting is evolving rapidly, and Clyde Coast Radio is embracing this change by moving to Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). This transition promises clearer sound quality and wider reach for the station’s loyal listeners. ICF’s Chair, Elliott McKelvie, and trustee, David McCallum, attended their open day to see round the studio and other facilities in Port Glasgow.

Resident DJ Ronnie Cowan was on air during his 12 noon show, giving a live demonstration of the station’s vibrant programming.
Joining the event were notable local figures such as Provost Drew McKenzie and MSP Stuart McMillan, showing strong community support for the station’s future. Their presence underscored the importance of local radio in connecting communities and providing a platform for local voices.
